Wine Vacuum Stopper

Either because you live alone and pour yourself a glass from time to time, or you save the wine for romantic evenings, or you simply can't finish the entire bottle. Surely you have at some point left a bottle of wine half-poured.

Do you know what should be done with the open bottle of wine?

If you cover it again with the original cork, the wine can last from 1 to 3 days, however, with a vacuum pump it lasts twice as long, from 3 to 6 days.

The vacuum pump is a wine stopper that allows air to be extracted from the bottle, creating an airtight vacuum that reduces oxidation and allows the life of the wine to be extended much longer.

Most vacuum pumps consist of 3 parts, the pump itself and 2 plugs.

How do you use the wine vacuum stopper?

1. Place the vacuum cap on the bottle.
2. Pump up and down until you feel resistance, this means that the air has already left the bottle.
3. Store the wine bottle upright in the refrigerator.

To open, you only have to move the stopper from side to side to let the air in, removing the vacuum so you can remove it and serve the wine.

IMPORTANT: Do not use in sparkling wines (champagne, cava, etc.) as it will remove the CO2 responsible for the bubbles.
